Jessica Freeland
Actor ⋆ Writer ⋆ Musician

Passionate, ambitious, effervescent—Jessica Freeland is a New York City-based multihyphenate artist with a relentless ardor for vivid storytelling.
As a stage and screen actor, she adores playing Byronic and Romantic heroines embodying equal parts vivacity and vulnerability, and craves portraying villains who wield powerful emotions at will. From period piece to present day, she is drawn to characters and companies striving to defy expectations in roles and reality.
A playwright, poet, novelist, and screenwriter, Jessica is always ensconced in a world of words. Her writing mostly focuses on feminism, conservation, and mental wellness via dark and abstract settings that can be explored both literally and figuratively. Also a musician, Jessica is the lead singer-songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist for Freeland & Pine.
Jessica graduated magna cum laude from Montclair State University having earned a triple Bachelor of Arts in English, Latin, and Classics. There, she was Chapter President of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Poetry Editor for The Normal Review, and a columnist for The Montclarion.
